ATTN: NIEDEJB VTEC controller settings...

Hey dude....

What fuel settings do you have your vtec controller setup as? RPMS and %? Also where do you have the vtec switchover point at?

Thanks, Imma bring my car to the track with the controller connected to see if it does anything.

Havnt dynoed it so it wouldn't do you any good to give you my guesses...waiting on the turbo before I spend the $'s to tune.

vtec is now at 3K just because I can put it there. Dont know if it helped or hurt me.

Yea I'm not sure what to do either w/o a dyno. I had mine setup last year w/ the vtec set at 4K and fuel leaned 5% below 4k, than 0% above. I have an a/f meter, thought it would help me guage what the controller was doing... but it didn't. Setting the vtec at 4k worked well cuz it stayed in the vtec band when i shifted at redline.

I'm going to the track tomorrow and I'm not sure whether to reconnect it again. Oh the reason I disconneted it was because one time i was driving from Jersey to Maryland and the check engine light came on and my car started smelling like smoke and the rpms sputtered... (bogged i guess).

I dunno...
