First off, I love this sight. Its given me so much valuable information for the 1st gen and 2nd gen CL's that I've have had.

Anyhow, I am moving to San Diego next month and contemplating on shipping my 1998 CL 2.3. I am aware of the smog test..and etc.. My car does not smoke or anything is in really good shape.

My only concern is on my cluster, the miles do not work. It does not turn meaning true miles are unknown. It does not roll over.. Do you think that will be a problem when I go to register it? Or I could should just replace it with a working cluster. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

their main concern is a emissions and check engine lights. hit up Starboy2nv. i think he has a extra cluster if he hasn't sold it yet.
