APEXi V-AFC on 4 cylinder CL
Ok guys I've had my VAFC in my 2.3 CL for about a month. I've noticed that my vtec has been all messed up lately. Its been turing on when ever it feels like and stuff like that. I called APEXi and they told me that the VAFC does NOT work on 4 cylinder Accord engines. They mentioned that the accord vtec is different than the normal vtec and therefore it will not work. I checked the apexi web site as well www.apexi-usa.com and in their tech Q&A it says that the vafc will not work on 4 cylinder accord engines as well. The thing that sucks the most is the instructions that came with the VAFC say that it will work and even give wiring diagram etc... If you look at the downloadable update to the vafc instruction you'll notice that 4 cylinder accords are no longer in the intruction booklet. So my question is, those of you with the vafc in 4 cylinder CLs have you guys had any problems? I'm really pissed off about this cause nobody knows this info including the people that sell the vafc. I checked and rewired the dam thing 100 times before I gave up and decided to call them and if I hadn't I would of never known. GRRRRR

I just set it at 5K to test it.
I keep it at 3K until I can see it dynoed. If you watch the Vo output on the monitor screen you should feel it, hear it, and now see it.
You wire it? Sure you got it wired right? I've got a CL service manual if you need the wiring colors/config I used.

an h22a's meant for a prelude, a turbos not meant for a honda.. a car's not meant to be stripped and drag raced, slicks aren't meant for daily driving.. blah blah oh and nitrous is meant for dental work
