Apex-i WS (exhaust) or others

Alright I have been getting a ton of mixed feed back but I gotta know what has worked and has been done. I first choice is to order Apex-i's world sport exhaust from ARDperformance.com for 419.99.
The Accord 98+ single tip V6 is the one I am looking at for my 97 3.0 Cl. Is this right?
Or does the 399.99 Accord 93-97 V6 single tip fit my 3.0?
Also if anyone else has suggestions for exhaust i would love to hear em.. the HKS Hyper is a sweet looking exhuast as well... Thanks

Your best bet is to buy whatever exhaust you want and just get custom piping at any muffler shop. You'll end up saving some cash and you'll have a perfect fit.
For sure a V6 '98+ accord exhaust will not work because the the '98 accord has dual exhasut while the 3.0 CL only has a single exhaust. You could try using a V6 '97 accord exhaust but I'm not to sure it will be a perfect fit.
What I did on my 2.3 CL is buy an exhaust for $130.00 get custom 2 1/4 inch piping for another $130.00 and for $260.00 I had a great exhaust system installed.

I bought the Apexi WS exhaust for a 97 accord EX and it fit perfectly on my 2.3 CL, so i think a 97 V6 Accord should fit your car. NOT a 98.

DCS/CL Sleeper
You are wrong, a 1998 Accord V6 DOES! come in a single muffler. I went to honda yesterday and saw one in my own eyes. Also ARD performance Sells a "1998-2000 Honda Accord V6 Single Catback exhaust as well as a dual"

But its not only the dual exhaust, the piping is different on the 98+ accord. The chasis betwwen the 98+ and the 94-97 are different so the piping is also different. If ATLCL bought a '97 Accord exhaust system and it fit perfectly why don't you just take his advice?

It took the guys at the shop 10 minutes to swap exhaust systems. Needless to say, I was impressed. And Yes, you should take my advice on this matter. Don't expect phenomenal gains though or a really loud sound. Otherwise good exhaust though, looks real tight on a CL

Hey Atlcl, I heard that the world sport was one of the quietest cat back systems. Does it sound loud in the car at all?

It gives a nice hum to the car, but it is pretty quiet. The intake is much louder. I kinda like it though, it keeps the luxury aspect of the car and doesn't give it a really obnoxious sound. You can hear it definitely, but it is not overwhelming. Kinda makes it sound like a V6, except a bit deeper. At lower rpms you can hear it somewhat, if you open your windows, but at higher rpms your intake will drown it out.
