Anyone know how to "smoke" tailights?
My buddy has a 02 Tacoma, and wants to darken up his tailights. I have seen someone on here with "smoked" bumpers and tails. How do we go about this..

alot of people put tinting film on it. Same shit you use on your windows.

i heard they make like a tint spray...my friend used it a while ago to tint his headlights looked good. mask n spray

Thats what i thought it was too Slooo. I just wanted to know if anyone knew about this, i thought i remember someone on here having tinted tails and bumpers.

so does that mean we could put tint film on the CL's? I think that smoking teh tail lights on the CL would look so hot and it would not be gay like gaytezzas... is it just me or is it hard to tell when a car with tezzas is breaking?

They make some spray called Nightshades that will do it. or go to a hobby shop and by translucent black and that will work too.

there is a spray that most speed shops sell. i forget what its called but it has a guy wearing sunglasses on it and it says for off road use only. you will have to layer it but it works well. make sure you spray a clear coat on top of that though.
