^ that's cheaper than a CF front lip.. I doubt it will be that cheap.

i only paid 250 for my CF hood from VIS.. and it's only like a couple mm smaller then our stock hoods

did you call up vis or order from some site? also would it fit a 97 3.0 cl?

i went to a shop down here and they ordered it for my i dunno if they got it right from the shop or if there was a middle man....


the bolts line up perfect but i don't kno how an accord hood would fit wit our fenders and lights...

I'll buy one. That carbon fiber hood will look good with a C/F trunk. I might be able to install both for my birthday in January

well, we'll see when the hoods come in. All this talk of carbon fiber makes me sick. I dont want any more disapointments with CF parts. The hood was a waste of money.

I wouldn't call it a waste of money, just a waste of time, they have to come through on the money end, it'll just cost us more time.

Please look at my new thread.. price is $495+shipping

(a bit more than the hood.. but they're using vacuum infused molding and a process called RTM, which is the closest thing to DRY carbon now).

FYI, a dry carbon hood for an M3 costs a good $7000
