Anyone in Balt/DC area w/2.2, 2.3 want parts?
I'm putting my car back to stock.
It's official. I'm getting a smaller car that I can commute with and auto-x with. I love the CL and hate to do it but not having a monthly payment anymore will be great when I start a family...
I'll still be around, at meets, at the track etc.
Just won't have the CL... If anyone has any experience selling their vehicles let me know, I don't want to wait forever...
Anyhow,
I have OBX rear section exhaust, (need the stock one from buyer) and intake, Red convoluted wire covers, already cut to size, blue silicone hose kit, already cut to size, and clear bumper lights.
Also have e-brake handle and boot to go on it. (I've only seen mine with this feature...)
The easiest way is to meet up and have an install together, It'll be pretty easy and I can help you install.
Peace,
Nomad

Yeah Dust, ol buddy, I'm tired of talking about it and I'm gonna do it. I'm actually looking to jump ship from Honda if you can believe it! I love Honda/Acura but I'm looking for something with great handling in stock form, small, light, with great future potential... yes boys and girls... Miata it is.
I'm fighting back the urge to call it a "chick car" because there's soo much darn potential! I'll run stock class Auto-x for a while but it opens the door up to road racing too. Spec Miata racing is growing in popularity. The stock 1.6 can handle up to 12psi of boost before major work needed. Performance parts are slightly cheaper. And if I get one at the right price, the suspension and wheels I'll put on it will keep it from looking anything but good!
I'll definitly stay around on the board etc.
Jamolie - PM me with your e-mail address and I can e-mail you some JPG's.

Naw
If I get one a great price to begin with then more mods are possible... Here's my shopping list:
performance springs/ adjustable shocks, sways, Rota lightweight rims, sticky rubber, hard dog functional roll-bar, recaro seats, my current billet shift knob and pedals, a good clay bar and polish treatment, engine overhaul, possibly limited slip...
We'll see how far I get
Peace.

My gf has a 94 miata. It really seems like a chicks car or maybe a retired mans car but for the most part they are really reliable and very sturdy cars. I may look like a fool but i still love to zip around in it. Goodluck w/ finding what you want. They are pretty cheap used you can find good deals all over where i live on miatas. what gen are you going for?

I actually just picked up a black 94. Great condition, minimal interior wear, always covered. Original top is in excellent condition.
I'm going to be installing a Roll bar soon, then replacing ALL fluids with redline synthetics. Custom intake with K&N, strut tower bar.
I'll be advanging timing 14 degrees for free power. Custom stereo install etc.
I plan to do much more but i'm going to force myself to keep it stock after these mods so I can compete in Stock class Auto-X. Then Once I really know the car I'll move up to suspension mods.
Chick car? Yeah, there's a lot out there. But I'll get over it as I *snick*snick*snick* through the gears on twisty roads with the back end hanging out, passing understeering front-drivers!
Just messin, I won't become a RWD snob...
