Anybody F-max Or Drag Gen 2 ?
does anyone have the f-max, or drag gen 2 kit installed the kit on their car? Or does anyone have any idea of the power gains from running low boost? Let's say I did the internals, rebuilt, and upgraded my tranny, upgraded the fuel system, torque converter, and a possible shotpeening of the crankshaft,- what kind of power gains could I expect from running high boost @ around 12+psi?

thats low boost.. not even 1 bar.. firstly you'll blown your tranny to pieces.. secondly i'd be suprised if you broke low 13's the few runs you get..
now if you put a DOHC motor in it.. and a 5 speed tranny.. rebuilt the engin.. (like my motor).. you could run closer to or higher then 2 bar.... every day.. and have a 12 second car.. put a shot on it you could prolly break into the 10's if tuned right.. your not going anywheres fast with a SOHC and auto tranny..

Why would you get a drag gen 2 when the drag gen 3 has been out for close to a year? If you look at the f-max web site they compare both the f-max and drag gen 3 kits. But I'm not sure how accurate or bias those results may be. In any case the f-max is a much more expensive kit compared to the basic drag gen 3 kit. The drag gen 3 goes for around $2,700 shipped while the f-max kit goes for around $3,600 shipped.

fode,
my post was a question, I wasn't looking to get my head ripped off, I just wanted some info. I've heard of people doing some sick sh*t with the f22b1 motor. Nothing against the H22, but what's wrong with making with what I already have?
