Are you talking about like home depot gutter gaurd grill? Thats what i have and it looks good i just removed the A with the wings in the grill and covered it in mesh and put an A from the TL in the middle of the grill. Im pretty sure i have posted instructions and so have a few other people so you might want to try and do a search. You should find some pics as well

i did the same thing with mine. Think you might need the black plastic to hold everything in place.

i used home depot gutterguard and rustoleum black paint, turned out pretty decent...

A little tip if your goin that route: When you cut out the mesh- make sure you wear gloves, i cut the crap out of my hands doin it,
have fun

So you say you used a TL "A"?

Did it screw into the black plastic area?
So it fits just like stock right? But with different mesh...

so when you guys did the grill, you only removed the A and wings? if you left all of the plastic on there, how did you get the mesh to stay?

Chiggacl68, i am in irvine..I actually have a gree CL with clears, and my symbols have been removed from the back of the car...

Yeah i happened to have a TL A from when i got the A C U R A lettering. It has these little rubber grippy type things on each prong and i just pushed it in the pig snout thing thru the mesh in the grill where the factory A was. Fits in snugly

In order to keep the mesh in your remove the whole grill and put the mesh into between the silver trim and screw it back down. Do a search for instructions
