i just got mine in today and i use the plug for lighter and i was just wondering will that drain my battery?? or does it use the energy created by the alternator?? also any good place to mount them???

 

It will not drain the battery as long as you have the car on if you dont it dont it all depends on what you have hooked up to it if its a playstaion it will draw not enough power to make a difference unless you leave your car on all day all night and the playstaion or whatever you have hooked up to it running.
