has anyone tried to use the oem acura hid unit, like this one, it says that its the one used in the 2nd gen cl, does anyone know whats the setup in the 2nd gen like where do the ballasts get their power from, and does anyone know anything about these Stanley ballasts? whats a reasonable price for these, im assuming theyre 4300k

youd have to modify the bulbs and the housing ...other than that, you can rewire it to work correctly

exactly. u need to get the bulbs to be secure and find the proper focus point. in order to get them to focus decently they need to be able to slide further into the housing. u can use any oem xenon system and it will require the same work. a kit on ebay for $200 may be a better route. your gonna pay about the same for ome bulbs and ballasts.
