Alternator help, AGAIN- dust??

Ok, I took it out...now how the heck do I get the tensioner up to re-install the new one? Also, the new one has a smaller pulley, should I use the stock pulley, or buy a new belt...if that is possible.

That tensioner is EXTREMELY difficult to get back up...pls help if possible. How did you do it DUST?

I swapped on the pulley from the stock alternator.

I don't recall removing the tensioner when I replaced my alternator. Let me dig out my manual. I'll respond shortly.

EDIT: I can't find my damn manual! I still haven't unpacked most of my shit since I moved 9 days ago.

I don't remember removing the tensioner when I put in the 180-amp alternator. I only recall removing the bolts that hold the alternator to the bracket.

I'll take a look in the AM, but couldn't even begin to remember how the assembly looks from memory.

I appreciate some feedback.....I can get it back in, its just trying to pull it up to original position while the belt is on seems impossible. It's SO heavy to try and do it by hand.
If anyone else has a clue, pls join in this thread....THANKS GUYS!
