Air Venting out with temperature control off

whats up guys,

Does anyone's CL vent out air when the temp. controls are off. If I last had heat on and then turn it off, heat will still vent out and similarly cool air would come out if I last had the A/C on. Its not a lot as when the heat or A/C is on, but it's enough to make the ride uncomfortable. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks

Air venting

turn it back on, switch from vent to recirculate, then turn it off. I think this is because when you are driving air is forced in even if the fan is not on.

umm, adjust it to a temperature that is comfortable for you while the air is on normally. Then when you turn it off, it will spit out the same temperature air.

Mine does the same thing. It's so annoying!!! I just turn off the side vents and point the middle vents down and away.

Sounds like im not the only one. Anyone taken this question to the dealership? I've managed a few quick fixes, but living in arizona where you need heat at night and a/c during the day im constantly switching it back and forth. I'll talk to them about it and post anything i find out.

Mine too...I believe the side vents are constant vents. That's why they have manual-shut. If the middle ones still blow even when the climate controls are off....there may be an issue.

I agree with this. Are you guys sure that its on recirculate when this happens?

Hit the button so that the air recirculates from inside. This shuts air from flowing from outside. I think it is a passive thing.
