Aiming HIDs?

hey HID owners, how do you properly aim the HIDs? I know you gotta aim them WAYYY down but i don't know where to put htem for optimal beam pattern distribution on the road.

My passenger side is really light on the side of the road, like a little too far over to the right. I can't really get a good read on how they light the road, since there's nowhere dark around here (center city, everything's lit up 24/7). Can the reflectors be aimed horizontally as well as vertically?

Street signs and white lines are lit up really really well, but it seems that there's not much light getting to the ground in front of the car, except some phantom reflections.

One of mine is a tiny bit different color than the other, but not noticable in passing
