Aiming the headlights horizontally ??

Hi Hi,
Has anyone sucessfully aimed their headlights horizontally ?? I meant U can aim the headlights vertically based on the balance gauge U see when U open the hood, but the main thing is ..... they are gonna out balance anyway even U adjust them by what the gauage tells U.
The manual says we can aim the headlights by looking at the mark on the adjuster, but I don't see a mark there except a L|R.

Yeah, I just aimed mine the other day. There should be an arrow on the wheel that you turn. The arrow should point directly up (towards the sky) between the "L" and "R".

Hi Hi,
Really ?? How did U do the adjustment horizontally ?? The L|R wheel seems going forever as U turn your screwdriver with it. How can U tell if your adjustment is correct ??

I ended up aiming them way I wanted them, rather than relying on the levels (vertical)/arrows (horizontal).

I used the levels and arrows as a starting point, then just relied on trail and error to get them where I wanted. This took a couple of spins around the neighborhood to see how the beams projected onto the road.

So far, no problems (from oncoming cars or police)!
