Aem V2

hey guys

I've got a 97 3.0 CL, and I want to install a V2 AEM CAI, but I think I heard somewhere you could only use them with manual transmissions. Can I put this on my auto?

this forum has been the most no bullshit help I've gotten with the car, thanks

I've read that same thing too. However, if you check out AEM's web site, they have an application for the 98-02 Accord V6. We all know those are auto's. They also have an application for the CL and TL, non type-S. Those are autos too.

I think you should be able to install one. Good Luck!!!

I don' t think it matters if its an auto or not, no difference in intakes. I wouldn't worry about it.

If they make them for the 98-00 Accord V6 then it should work on the 3.0 since they're both auto. I have no idea how a tranny would affect the function of an intake.....?
