Wink AEM CAI for my 98 2.3CL

I am new here.
These days, I am reading a great deal of information from the forum.

A week ago, I bought 98 2.3CL from Texas. I want to change cai.

Thank you,

so they're all from AEM (good choice.)

you're looking at a Cold Air (better HP at higher RPMS) Short Ram (better torque) or a v2 (I think its a beefed up Short ram, but i'll probably be corrected on this.)

I just installed a CAI in my car today, and Im happy as hell. Man that thing sounds sweet. Only concern would be, that if you're in a very rainy area that you dont get caught in any large puddles of water (the CAI is like a vaccum and it will suck up water right into your engine, causing hydrolock.)

I'm very pleased with the CAI, and if its that price w/o shipping, then you're probably getting a good deal there. If you're willing to put the $$$ down for the v2 though, I'd probably go for that one.

Good luck, and I hope this helped (even if it was just a little.)

I think most would agree that the best model for your car is the 94-97 honda accord AEM V2. It is also the most expensive. The newer accord model of V2 would also fit your car if it's a 2.3, and it would be more of CAI style intake. There are several threads comparing the two.
