Man, I don't like to hate on people... but seriously.

 

It sounded turbo'd to me in the beginning. At 13-14 seconds into the video is the only time I think I hear a wastegate/bov. After that I can't tell with the tires screeching and the music.

i thought i heard one early in the vid, but i couldnt hear it in the rest of the video. all i heard were tires screeching. even though the driver was too pussy to accelerate throughout his "drift".

BTW, Thas def a turbo. Just listen closely with the speakers up and ignore the screeching. 1:16 - 2:20

So since i'm on dial-up, i went out for a smoke while this video was loading. I came back with no expectations and was still disappointed. if you're gonna fake drift a CL you minus whale do it in snow. I'll take some vids next time it snow around here. I had so much fun last weekend in the lot behind work. Had a couple sweet little runs.

But yeah, turbo or no, it was still pretty ghey.

 

damn, i can't watch it right now, but my fav thing to do in the snow is ebrake turns, its so fun. i'm actually really good at it, lol. it was very easy to do with my old tires, now tires no so much but still possible in snow.

I remember the good ol' days in very wide empty parking lots with cones during the rain. We use to have contests who could get around them the fastest without losing control. And I've been in my friend's Evo while doing 360's non stop in one spot during the rain. It's a freaking blast, like a roller coaster. Oh man, good times, good times...

This drifting is more drifting than the vid he posted, I didn't hear one BOV and he wasn't even drifting since you can't easily drift a FWD car to begin with, he was just ebraking and sliding a little bit sideways, the only good FWD drifting I've seen is usually on snow/ice. Like this for example, this vid is a far clearer drift than the dangerous parking garage stuff he posted.

actually I have a confession, I did one drift out my CL on the public roads..........by complete accident, I rushed a corner, got on the brake like the idiot I was back then , shifted a bit too much weight to the front a little to quickly and BAM she went sideways on me, it was a great mix of fun and "OMG IM GONNA DIE" all at the same time..... im just glad I caught it.....

but yeah some times while its wet on a nice empty day at daybreak when nobodys around ill go out and have some fun with her . she seems to love every minute of it.. but for the most part GRIP FTMFW... which is why ill never ever drive my friend's car ever again. cant grip worth a damn and try to drift it and itll understeer you straight into a tree
