Nice, u even linked it to my webserver So my g/f stayed home from work today since she's not feelin well, and will be signing for my hood. At least now I don't have to pay someone to sit at my house with the dog and sign for the hood. Bout to call to find out the status, it must be delivered today.

 

Alright, this is absolute fucking bullshit. My fawking hood was shipped 11 days ago, but since carlo sent it as economy class, it HASN'T left LA yet. BAX Global has had it sitting in LA for 11 fucking days. I am so pissed right now. I saw a pittsburgh scan, but that was the exception scan saying that it didn't arrive when it was supposed to. SO I paid $145 so that my hood could sit around for an extra two weeks, plus was all stressed out about someone sitting at home to sign for it, but it won't even make it to this area for another 2-3 days. I am so pissed off right now, curses to xmas shipping traffic. This fuckin sux, I can't believe that I paid all that money to have my hood be delayed for a week and a half to 2 weeks. NOW there won't be anyone home to sign for my hood whenever the fuck it finally arrives. Damnit

I called back and escalated to a manager, and they of course had "no idea why the package would sit for 11 days" excluding xmas of course. I pissed and moaned saying that I took off work, and would have to take off work again to be home to sign for the hood. Also told him that my car has been undriveable for 2 weeks because my hood is busted and i need the new hood (all bs, but just to make the point more urgent) So the supervisor put through an order to change the hood to overnight since they had the hood for 11 days and did nothing with it, so my hood will in fact (suposedly) be here tomorrow I'll believe it when the box is in my garage.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas....Yo... Sorry to hear that. You should of called me. It shouldn't of been delayed for 11 days! Everyone else got their hoods and I shipped it out the same....it's because of christmas rush ...Well I hope you got your hood, and my bad I wasn't on the boards over break.. it was the holidays so everything closed early and stuff. Plus my family was down visiting, and it was also my 21st birthday on the 22nd...so I partied and threw up on myself. Yeah not a pretty sight..especially when you have your bday dinner at BJ's Pizza and your friends buy you 6 shots and make you drink before you even eat..haha..

I'm hoping the rest of the hoods arrive sometime this month. But just to let everyone know, the carbon fiber shortage is getting really bad. So it's a good thing these hoods we're made this year and not in 2006, theres word that some companies might start making 1x1 carbon fiber weaves instead of 2x2 since the world supply of carbon is running really low.....Also, it's really hard to get trunks and hatches now..i've had a vis carbon fiber hatch backordered for like 2 months now, and that is a pretty popular part! I guess what i'm trying to say is, you won't be seeing any VIS CL hoods other then the ones that have been made and the ones that are scheduled to come. So if you have a hood, consider yourself lucky because I highly doubt these hoods will be made again. If you have a hood, and don't like it anymore, I'm pretty sure it won't be very hard to sell. Since you already have the hood, you can get a pretty good price for it. Probably even all your money back and then some. Why? Because I'm sure nobody will want to wait for like a year for the hood to be made, plus VIS is pre-pay when it comes to custom parts & cash only. So I consider the hood to be a pretty good investment .

We'll see if it comes today, they overnighted it, but it's in toledo, on the opposite end of ohio from me, and hasn't shown up as departed, so we'll see if it shows up today, I'm home sick all day, so we'll see if it comes

 

Never left toledo, overnight my ass, the shipping manager at the pittsburgh hub said that my hood arrived 4 mins b4 the truck left, but they couldn't hold up the truck. So now I have to pray that it comes for the THIRD day in a row that it's been "guaranteed" This shipping company blows donkeys

It continues today, I was told that the truck from Toledo would be here at 9:30, was told by the shipping mgr to cal at 10, called at 10:30 and they said that even though the stated ETA was 9:30, my hood was NOT on the "first truck" and the second one was "running late" so my hood is not even in pittsburgh yet. I am losing hope that I'll get it today either. I was told to call back about 12, so I will call right after lunch, and flip out if it's not there.

 

just drive down there and get it, it's the only way your gonna end up getting it....

 

Yeah, I'm considering that. They said I can pick it up till 10. Obviously I can't pick it up with my CL, but if they don't deliver it this afternoon, I'm gettin a van, and goin to pick that bitch up. This f'ing blows.

Should be delivered in which case I'll throw it on to verify fitment and take pics, then off it comes for the next couple months till this shitty weather passes. Then all the way

I cant wait for tax returns. then my shoot will begin. It will be many nice photos. All my friends are trying to get in my basement caues they know i have been up to something. hehe. Good thing my brother is a good sport about it and doesnt let them in on secrets. The only thin that sucks is when i sit at my house and up[s or fed ex rolls up with boxes and i have people over. they see boxes but no parts. Here's a shitty pic that I took, I couldn't borrow my buddy's camera cuz he was at work, so I used this old piece of shit 1.3 MP cam that sucked, my cam phone takes better pics, that I should have used instead. Oh well, had to post a pic of some kind, sorry for the quality, but since I was just throwing the hood on and takin it off, I couldn't wait for a better camera. But in 2 months, there will be lots of good pics, cuz I'll have my new digi cam by then. If one of u photoshop wiz's can fix up the lighting and make it look better that'd be cool, i tried, but am not great at photoshop, this is still the original pic, just shrunk to not be so blurry. Hood looks sharp as hell though
