For extensive gains from mods, you need the 1.8T version. The 2.8 doesn't do shit. And if you think about it, the 1.8T is a 4 cylinder. AKA, bad high end. Like the wrx's, great low end. But once past 100 it loses ass.
If you want pull...Get a VR-6 with the Z-Charger. My friend has one and that thing is crazy.
