99 CL transmission oil change
hey guys..
im new to the CL community.....i gotta 99 3.0 CL.
i wanted to do a oil change in my transmission.
are there any diagrams i can look at to see the drain plugs/fill plugs?
is there any online repair manual for our cars??
BTW, i searched and didnt find anything.
also,
from what i know, to change the oil, theres a drain plug underneath the tranny and the filler is on top correct?????
thanks for the help....

Whoa, are you trying to change the TRANNY fluid, or motor oil? Big difference, if you don't know how to change tranny fluid, you probably shouldn't mess with it.
The oil and tranny drain plugs are both under the car, the oil plug is on the oil pan under the engine block, the tranny plug is ON the tranny. If you can't identify the tranny or tranny plug, you shouldn't be messing with them. But yes, the oil cap is right on top of the engine, the tranny fill plug is ON the transmission, it's crazy stuff The tranny fill plug is a 17 mm, I believe the drain plug is too, not sure.

hahaha...
na i know wsup and all....im just new to these hondas.....
i came from a toyota and a mistu.......the tranny oil change involves removing pan and changing filter for the tranny.
these hondas and acuras dont have that method.....
ne way, i got confused about where the FILL plug for the tranny is because i saw a bolt on top of the tranny.
just to make things clear now, where is the FILL plug for the tranny located ???
TOP of tranny or somewhere on the side....
appreciate the help guys.
