Hey Acurazine. today i did a resonator delete with stock piping and stock muffler on my 3.0. i did notice some performance improvement.. but the sound isn't how i want it. did anyone do a 2.5 inch pipe from the cat to the stock muffler? if so plz let me know how it sounds. i cant find an answer anywhere

 

I have headers running to a 2.5" catco highflow cat, running to 2.5" piping, running to a 2.5" magnaflow resonator, running back to a muffler, it sounds great. It's a little loud for my taste since I have a dual canister muffler on it, but on friday I am swapping it for a traditional 2.5" inlet muffler to hopefully quiet it down a bit.

Running 2.5" piping to a stock muffler won't gain you anything because the stock muffler inlet is only 2.25" I believe
