I found a clean clean 99 cl that had sat for around 5 years. It only has 38'000 miles on it, but the guy says that the tranny is not shifting correctly. he said its delayed when it shifts from gear to gear, mainly from first to second. I'm going to look at the car tomorrow, just wanted to get a heads up on what it might be, if its something simple, and what else I should look for. Sorry, I really don't have too much time to search. I only really know about my 01.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The auto trannies are notoriously bad, if it's having problems shifting, and it's sat that long, be prepared to rebuild

Your Girlfriend is in my
Thats the same thing that is wrong with my car, I just learn to live with it.
Bought at 87,XXXkm. Don't know if its just the 3.0s, but I noticed that its very fast from 1st to 2nd, but doesn't shift until it hits 4.5k - 5k rpm. I just thought it was the same for all 3.0s.

I remember Sleep_Deprived_sleeper used to turn on the car, put in reverse, pull the handbrake up, and locked the door manually with another key. then come back when its warm. lol

Welp, I'm going to look at it later today, sucks cause the car is like brand new... did I mention it has 38000 miles on it? Its a 2.? not a 3.0 if that matters. wish it was a 5 speed.

If you can get the car for a really good price, just factor in the cost of a rebuild and see if it is in your price range. The other things I would personally consider is all new fluids... engine, brake, radiator etc. possibly new tires, belts. These things can go bad from age, not just mileage.
