it cost me about 150 ish to replace and install. god i'm getting really tired of this car. i bought it a year ago and it's had SOOO MANY PROBLEMS. i don't know how there so many of you peeps who love it, i mean, it's a nice ride but MAN.

in the past year, my 1997 2.2 ACURA CL has .. . .

window motor broke: $300 to fix

driver side door handle broke: too broke to fix, opening it the getto way

ball bearing broke: $150 to fix

CD deck broke: $ i don't know how much it'll cost

not to mention getting 20 miles to the gallon on a freaking 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine . ..just doesn't make sence to me.

anyone have any recommendations where to get a decent cd unit under 100 bucks shipped? thanks for the help guys.

besides the bearing, the rest of that seems cosmetic. wait til you gotta replace your radiator fans, your radiator, water pump, timing belt, transmission... then you will really wonder why a 20mpg 4 banger is worth keeping lol. when was the last tune-up the car had btw?

best buy for a decent cheap hu. i feel you on the probs had alot myself, but compared to other cars i've owned(about 10) this one was a gift from GOD himself.i'll never give up on her.remember even if you got a 99 the car is still 7 years old.it's a love/hate relationship always has been always will be.....
