97 CL 2.2 Turbo?
i was set on the 3.0CL after looking at it today it was rusted out. so im off to look at 2 more tomoorrow. ones a 3.0CL ones a standard 2.2CL
now my question is, and i searched. i just found irrelivant topics.
the 2.2 is a f22 right? so can i just buy a turbo kit for an accord, and have a muffler shop modify the pipes if need be. but is it this simple?

It's never simple when it comes to mix and match parts between cars. Especially when you're going FI.
I think people in this forum usually swap a H22A in place of F22/F23, then turbo it (so it's turbo'd H22).
I have a 3.0 so idk about F series much... someone else will chime in.

i hear that i have turboed many cars, but a turbo system asides engine management is hardware, and if the motors are identical, and theres clearance in the front i dont see a problem. i was thinking of an h22, but then i calculated price... and figured if i wanted to drop 4 gs i would have just got a Cl-s. but i know a guy with a turbo f22, and he will sell me the kit and a ECU for 850. 850+clutch i can do.

stock for stock, id rather boost a F22, simply because of it's iron sleeves......... sure the H22 has alot better flow.......... but the FRM sleeves just cant take as much as the F22 blocks

if you want better flow then throw an h22 head on the f22 block, that way you have the sturdy bottom end of the f22 w/ the excellent flow of the h22 head.
