it can be 100 W or 80 W

P=IV meaning Power=Current*Voltage, those have 12 volts and 80 or 100 watts power.. meaning that the amps or current is =100/12=8.3 or 80/12=6.6amps .. all you're really increasing i guess is the amount of current, and headlight fuses can hold like what up to 80 amps?? and the alternator even more?? so you'd be fine with those

somebody correct me if i'm wrong!

i donno whats wrong with mine..i think one of the bulbs is messed up...i mean i pluged it in and it was turned on, and it was in the headlight housing, but when i gave the bulb that final "click" to lock it in the headlighthousing, it turned off...and if i "unlocked the bulb...it turned on again...and now the damn thing isnt working no matter what im doin...(i thought i saw a spark inside the plastic as i was messin with it...but it sparked more than once...the bulb looks fine on the outside and its only be on for like 5Min total...could it alreayd be blown?? i dont undertaand...anyone know???
i still think it's an electrical problem. either the bulb is blown, or the connector is still somehow loose, and not making a solid electrical connection. test this by switching your left and right bulbs. check to see if the bulb is actually bad by connecting it to the "good" connector. you may also have to connect the "good" bulb into the "bad" socket as well. i hope it works out, good luck.

yea if ur not lowerd then ur gunna have nasty glare like u said u have ... park u car about 15-20 feet from a wall and aim it accordingly ... ur light shouldnt be gradually getting higher it should be gradually pointing down

the prob is the oem wiring. run 80 watt or higher and dont be surprised when the wiring or connector melts or catches on fire. doesnt always happen, but it DOES.
