how much did you guys pay for your 90,000 mile tuneup? the dealership is telling me 784 dollars for the tuneup with the timing belt, the water pump and all that stuff......what do you guys think?

Sounds about right. I paid for the timing belt and pump and did the other stuff myself.

Cost about $550.

yeah i normally would cuz i do all the stuff on my car normally but when it comes to timing stuff man....i wanna stay away from that

Apparently our 3.0's timing belt/water pump are good until 105,000 miles (along with the plugs).

I paid 280 for a timing belt and another one....784 thats some crazy shit...but i didnt go to Acura they rape you bad...

When I went to see my Acura dealer, they said that the timing belt is good until 150K Km (do the conversion)...

As for the need to change it at an Acura dealer, i don't think it's this important. You could change the timing belt at any good garage. Some garages are even warranted by Honda and Acura and the labor and parts ar echeaper..
