6.5 Pioneer PROBLEMSSS HELP!!!!!

Hey
im guessin taht maybe the magnet on the speakers is hitting the door and thats why they are all shuttting off? If thats not it anybody got an idea why when i crank them they all shut off?
If its the size of the speakers then how do i make a spacer or something???

Can you specify if all the speakers in the system shut off, or just the door speakers you installed?

Did this ever occur prior to the door speaker install?

Magnet won't cause it to stop. If the + and - connectors short out due to hitting something, that will do it. But given you say it happens when it's cracked, either an amp is cutting off due to excessive amprage draw, or the speaker's voice coil is shorting out at extension/compression (or the small wire going from the cone to the terminals on the basket).

Try disconnecting the door speakers and see what happens, then reconnect one at a time to see which is the problem.

ALL speakers short out???
Ive only replaced the front 2...i think i did something totally wrong

Well, in looking at your SIG, it's indicating that the rears are new as well:
SPEAKERS REPLACED WITH 220WATT 3-way PIONEER 6x9s and 2-way 180watt PIONEER 6 1/2s
From your response, I am guessing just the fron speakers stop working. Also I am guessing that these are connected directly to the radio. Either the speaker itself (or at least one of them) are shorting out somehow, or the radio's amp is cutting off due to overloaded amprage draw.
