2003 Accord 3.0

Anyone investigate this in detail? I see it has 240hp, but from what? CL-S parts? Or does it have other parts we can order and stick in ours? Also the 5-sp auto xmission: can we do a swap? Seems to be some exciting possibilities here.

I am wondering the same thing about the 6-speed tranny. That would be phatty as hell

Well have to wait and see.

It would be pretty nice to be able to swap parts and such. I can't image what these engines would go for new or used.

Just got the new car and driver yesterday and here's what they say about the new accord:

It still has the 3.0l sohc vtec engine, but now it has 240hp and 211tq. This is due to more aggressive cams, higher compression, and 30% bigger exhaust piping. The EX v6 will come with the 6-speed tranny from the cl-s.

IMHO..... the new accord coupe ex v6 looks f#ckin' sweet. I'm trying to talk my wife into trading in her '97 accord coupe for a new one.
