2.2, auto to manual?
Hi everyone, currently I am driving a 97 automatic 2.2 cl and I would like to swap in a manual transmission, is this possible? If so, could anyone please give me websites with more informations? Thank you very much, greatly appriciated.

Do a search. this has been brought up before. I'm planning on doing the same thing within the next month or so. So in answer to your question yes it can be done. find an ecu for a manual 2.2 and a tranny. (who knows if the 2.3 tranny and ecu would work, anyone? It might..)

well that sucks!! I just got off the phone with acura and they told me that it could be done but it would require another cl to take the parts off from. the guy told me that it was unreasonable to think that I could buy all the parts for under 2k! he said the parts on the engine that control the idle and the new mounts and axles alone would be a grand.... plus the tranny, plus the cables, shifter, peddal clusters, ect. and then the labor....... he said it would take four days or more!!!!! That's like a billion dollars alone for the labor.. I'm so upset..... I guess I'll save up and buy an accord w/ a standard tranny.i miss driving a stick!!!!! I'll keep my 2.3 , she's my baby! i'll get a 97 accord so I can still get my TURBO BABY!!!!! lol i'm still upset. :'( i'm not made of money damnit!!!!!!!
