1st gen question?

I've noticed in the 2nd gen forum there always talking about production numbers and how rare some are. Are there any rare 1st gens and does anyone know any of the production numbers for them. I've searched but have found nothing any body know anything?

I have yet to see a cyclone blue cl. Pretty much all of the cl's around here are black or white. I've seen a couple other ice teals and a few reds too.

as far as colors go that actual Red color 98-99 color, not the burgundy color. i hardly ever see that color. dont see much champange either. all the champagne CL is see are 3.0's for more reason.

i really wish we had the stats like the 2nd Gen guys. but its clear that our cars are so common. i find that out everytime i hit up junkyards.

It was hell looking for a power seat track...
When my bro showed my this car, it was the first time I have ever seen a CL. I remember I hated it cuz I thought it looked like a chick car. I'm not gunna lie tho, with out a spoiler, it kinda dose.. Besides mine, I have only seen like, 3 CLs. 2 green and one white in el paso.

Man this thread makes me want to call some more salvage yards, but I don't really need any parts, since I still have 75% of my spare interior

I got a new phone since I last talked to you so I don't have your number...

I originally thought it looked like a football. I like the unique look of it now.

I envy you guys, I'm very fortunate if I see another CL besides mine in a month. And I have yet to see modded CL in person besides mine. All I've ever seen is stock white 2.xs or black 2.xs.

Black 3.0s with cloth FTW. I'm glad I don't have leather.

oh man well i guess its all about how u maintain it. For me, mines mint, i love it. But i could definately see someone hating the worn out leather look!(my best suggestion is RSX becasuse it looks SO good in our cars. I cant wait to get ahold of some tan ones. )

the leather is great if u take care of it, only time it bothers me is when it's super hot in the summer cuz i have the black leather. But even then keeping my windows or sunroof cracked does wonders for keeping the heat from overtaking the car. Mine needed some TLC but I'd def rather have it in the CL than cloth

i agree. it think the leather belongs in the cl. In the 98 99 atleast, i know the dash is different. But i think it works well. I think the 97 looks decent also without leather.

that wont help ya, from my experience with tint, i dont think my cars any cooler than it was without tint. Maybe even hotter...Then again i have a black car, grey interior/leather and pretty dark windows. I usually put up the sun reflector on the windshield..so i dont know, somethings letting the light in and heating up my car. I just assumed the sun is absorbed by the tint and heats it up.
