I used the search function and didn't find anything for what I was looking for. I just got my '99 3.0CL and it needs a few factory things. I got the OEM spoiler from eBay, but now I just need fog lights. I would really love to get the factory kit, but I understand that they are really hard to find. I also read that the 1st gen Honda Pilot fog lights work, but you still need the CL plates that go on the back of the lights. Does anyone have any suggestions or any other setup they have? Thanks for any help!

You can pretty much make almost any fogs work if you want to. People here have various aftermarket fogs and ones that are oem for other cars.
As far as mounting, you may have to fabricate something yourself.
Are you looking for something that is as close to OEM look as possible? Or just something that is high quality? Projector, reflector?

I would like to have like the OEM style, but if I have to cut away a lot of the inside of the bumper to put them in, than maybe it wouldn't be so great. But actually, I do like how you have yours mounted (saw them in another thread). Are there harnesses in the bumper already for the fog lights? If there are, do those projector style just plug right in? And then I just need a '94-'97 Accord fog light switch that goes in the dash to the right of the radio, correct? And for the yellow Accord fogs, I'm just not into having lights all different colors. Well, maybe except for a blue like on xenons Originally Posted by shnee

The oem's aren't made anymore, and are very hard to get and pretty expensive. I found them for around $200 last time I looked hard, and decided to replace the oem with something else when mine rusted completely. You can find other fog sets that look similar to oem, I really did love the look of them when I had them.

I just screwed mine right into the bumper to mount them. CL Juice got the same ones and he has them in there with some double sided tape. I think the bumper does already have mounting points for the OEM fogs, but I'm going to assume they aren't going to work with much else besides the OEMs.Originally Posted by MaxMike93

Mine came with its own wiring kit, which I just ran to the battery and then hooked its switch up to the back of the OEM switch. People have said all 98-99s are prewired for fogs, but I have a 97 so someone else will have to give you more detail on rigging it with the OEM wiring. I'm pretty sure you can get an Accord wiring kit that comes with the button and all wires.
And can anyone possily point me in the direction of where the harnesses for the fog lights woul be? The 1999 CL is supposed to be prewired for at least the OEM fog lights and I found the plug behind the dash that shows power when the headlights are turned on, but I can't find the actual harnesses for any lights in the lower part of the bumper.
OK, I found the harness that goes to the plug to the right of the radio. Now do I just need the wiring kit and switch from a 94-97 Accord? And if that is what I need, can I get that from a dealer?

I know that already. But don't I need the entire wiring kit from a 94-97 Accord to wire under the hood from the harness to the bumpers for the actual lights?Originally Posted by Kyanite

bump. has anyone ever tried these? seem pretty similar to the stock fogs. seller says it should plug right into stock wiring and fit into the usual fig light space on the CL. but will it fit or is pretty much every connector different by the car's make? sorry, I'm kinda a noob at all of this stuff

Looks like universal lights/reflectors, mounting hardware, and wiring to me.
They also look like they will be much smaller than the OEM fogs.

They certainly don't look like they will plug right in to stock wiring

Look who you're talking to
I'm just saying that the wiring kit is a complete kit, it won't plug right in. It would need to be hacked apart. So what the guy is telling him is wrong is all I'm saying

I sent you a PM but you never replied. My dad already went to the local Honda dealer and ordered the switch. Sorry! My dad is pretty good with electronics (wired up my radio, backup camera, etc.) so maybe he would get those lights to work even with the different plugs. So the 98 Accord fogs are pretty much the exact thing as the fogs for the '99 CL?Originally Posted by f22vtec

They're not the exact same the brackets are different, but they look similar cosmetically
