Hey, Im new to the forum and was wondering where you can find parts for the 3.0 engine. I look on every website and they have NOTHING for a 97 3.0, I know its the same engine as the Accord so I have been looking for that and found some stuff but I would like to get a cold air intake and other engine parts since I already have aftermarket exhaust. Thanks, post links and anything you can find or other things how you can make the engine have more hp and car be faster. ALSO, How does the VTEC work with the auto tranny....doesnt it need to get to 5800rpm to get into vtec? How can I make my tranny shift at a higher rpm # then what vtec is as I would like to use vtec on the streets, etc. thanks for all your help

The engine is the same as the 98-02 Accord 3.0 V6

 

What are u wanting exactly then id be glad to help you find parts that work cleanly on your car while giving you the max gains and looks.

 

For this engine, the Vtec switchover is actually at 3500 rpms.
