17" tire recommendations?

What tires are you running with your 17s? I am looking at the 225/45 Potenza RE750s. It seems like a decent middleground between performance and mileage. Also, what wheels do you have and what do you think of them?

I was also wondering about ABS with 215/45 R17 tires...the bridgestones im looking at are 24.6" in diameter compared with 25.0" diameter original tires. for those of you with the 215/45 17s, does your ABS still work OK? thats my only concern really

215/45/17 is the best choice. Your speedometer will be almost the same as stock.
My ABS works yeah

for tire just check www.tirerack.com and compare each one. I didn't know by my heart my tire brand. I'll check later today. BTW, 4 me I always check the thread life and the Ride/Noise Comfort then.

Yeah, i know...its just that im looking at 7" wide rims and im finnicky with my car, so i want the Measuring Rim Width of the tire to match the width of the rim. the 225/45/17s have a MRW of 7.5, while the 215/45 are 7.0". im a nerd like that
