I bought my CL in December, and so just for shits and giggles I called the dealer to get an estimate on a tune up (Specifically tranny drain and fill) and they wanted $550 to do the following:

• Transmission drain and fill
• oil change
• new wipers
• engine filter replacement
• "inspection"

So obviously I'm going to do most of that myself, or take it to a local, but what else would you guys recommend doing while I'm at it. I still need to check the timing belt to see what it's like. Probably do spark plugs, plug wires distributor cap too...
Anything else that I need to take care of?

tl;dr what do i need for 120k mile tune up?

I actually need the same service even though im at 135 k so i need that soon also.

but anyway I got this from the dealer:

A service:

replace engine oil and filter
check fluid levels & conditions of fluids. Top-off as needed.
Perform visual inspection for fluids leakage
Adjust tire pressure to specifications (include spare)
Load test battery
Perform 21 point Inspection

B Service:

INspect front & rear brake clipers, rotors, pads & mounting hardware
Record usable brake lining Front ___ mm Rear___ mm
Record usable tire tread above wear indicators
Lf ___ mm RF __ mm LR ___ mm LR __ MM
Rotate tires
Inspect tie rod ends, steering gear box & boots. check rack grease & steering linkage
Inspect suspension components.
Inspect driveshaft boots
Inspect valve clearences (only if noisey)
Add windshield washer solvent
Add fuel system cleaner to fuel
Reset maintenance reminder


Service C:

Replace air cleaner elments
Check parking brake adjustment
Lube all door hinges, locks and latches
Inspect brake hoses and lines (Inc. ABS)
Check all fluid levels, condition of fluids & check for leaks
Inspect cooling system hoses and connections
Inspect exhaust system
Inspect fluel lines and connections
Check all lights
Inspect underbody

Service D:

Inspect value clearance (2.2 only)
Inspect and adjust drivebelts
Replace transmission fluid
(transmission fluid exhange with conditioner)

Service E:

Replace engine coolant (perform fast flush and add conditioner)
Replace brake fluid (perform brake fluid exhange)


I also got a quote from the dealer which was $805
