%$#$ CD Player

Does anyones factory CD player act up when the weather gets cold out? It got to like 48 this morning, and sure enough, as if this winter wasnt enough, my CD player takes like 3 minutes to play a track, then when it does, it skips, or makes a terrible scratching/fuzzy noise.
Any method to stop this?
