its depends...if thats what you want, go for it. I got KYB AGX adjustables (all 4 new) for $297. Then got Eibach springs for $84.....
If you really want the Koni's then do it...but most people here have kyb agx's and their cheaper....

Out here in Cali, I can get you the Ksport coilovers for $620 pick up at one of our local shops. I know the owner, he runs up at GMR with us, so he hooks it up. KSport is comparable to the D2's, etc....look them up on ebay, you can read more about them on there. But they are a stiff ass ride, dont know if your looking for performance, or just looks. If you want a smooth ride, then dont get the KSport. I believe their springs rates are 650 in the front, and 550 in the rear.

I got my stuff on ebay and i searched Acura CL KYB AGX & Acura CL Eibach Sportline Springs (and i didnt get many results)
Then, I search Accord KYB AGX and Eibach Sportlines and I got a bunch more auctions...
KYB AGX Adjustables
Applications
1996-1999 Acura CL Coupe
1990-1997 Honda Accord
Part Number
Right Front 741010
Left Front 741011
Right Rear 741012
Left Rear 741012
there you go...And YES...many members on her have a ~2" drop (via Eibach Sportlines, H&R sports, Neuspeed Sports...etc.) and they use KYB AGX...(its the only KYB shocks to use with a ~2" drop.
I woudnt advise getting the KYB Gr2's with a 2" drop. (their not adjustable and the KYB rep. told me they coudnt handle the 2" drop)
Go with the KYB AGX's....you'll be happy w/ them!
EDIT: This is the EXACT guy and EXACT auction i just bought my AGX's from...cheapest I've found. I just recieved them yesterday.

Peace, Love & Acura
I saw some real cheap ass springs on EBay... what gives with that... I mean like $8. I want the real Elbauch or Tein. I have the KYB AGX shocks, but I don't want to go lower than 1.25 to 1.5".

Always remember...you get what you pay for...cheap ass $8 spring sets are crap. Yes, you pay for brand names like Eibach and H&R, but then you know your getting a quality product.
if you dont want to go but ~1.5" then get a Eibach prokit.....when i first started thinking about lowering my car, i promised myself i'd only get a prokit and go 1.5"...(just so i woudnt have to worry about bottoming out and "driving safe" if i was slammed ~2+")
THEN, my friend lowered his 1.8t Golf with a prokit and i coudnt even tell it was lowered. (yes the springs settled)
I'd rather have a more drastic drop where you get noticed....its all up to u.
If you do go a prokit route, its actually much cheaper. You *MAY* be able to not have a camber kit, you *MAY* be able to ride on stock shocks for awhile, and then when u have to replace them, you could get the cheaper Gr2's if u didnt want the adjustability....
EDIT: I just noticed you said you already have the KYB AGX.....if 1.5" is what you want, get a Eibach prokit. Just compare pictures of what a prokit drop looks like and a sportline drop looks like...and yes, (although some may not agree) I think its personally "OK" to buy used springs. (i would never buy used shocks though....and only used springs if their not used like a bunch or years)

how handsome I am
take a look at pics of shineynitelites car and clman02's cars together side by side - Shiney's riding on KYBAGX/prokit and clman's riding on KYBAGX/sportline... should give you a decent idea of what the difference is like.
