water pump changed but does show timing belt

I am looking at a 2007 mdx to buy and it shows on carfax the water pump being changed at 107k but no timing belt. I am assuming they changed the timing belt also. Yall think this is true. As on my other honda to change just the water pump would be stupid as u got to take all the same stuff off to change the timing belt also. So what yall think

It doesn't really matter what we think, it's hard to say without visually inspecting it. Don't assume that everyone does things the proper way.

Call the service dept at the dealership, give them the VIN #, and date. See if they have any additional notes or details about the service performed or notes relating to vehicle.

The dealer will only have the details if it was changed at an Acura dealership. If it was change anywhere else, it won't be on their records.

Don't assume...... "when you assume, you......." you blow your engine!!!
