Video Out from Factory DVD Player (Front Dash)? - 2010 MDX Advanced & Entertainment
Hello!
I recently purchased the Autotoy Navigation/Video module for my 2010 MDX adv/ent and I would like to wire the factory DVD Player for the RES into the module to play video on the front navigation screen. Since the factory video player does not have a standard RCA video OUT port ..what I'm trying to figure out is the wires that I would need to splice into to create a RCA video out plug... I've read somewhere that it's a Light Blue Wire and the Black Wire but I would like to get this confirmed. It would also be extremely helpful if anyone could share a wiring diagram or more detail on the location of these wires to tap into.
Please keep in mind that for the 2010 MDX, the HDD nav computer and dvd player is entirely in the front dash now and the nav computer is no longer underneath the driver's seat. But I'm hoping the color code/wiring for the Factory DVD Player out to the RES monitor has been unchanged since the 2007 MDX.
I posted this question on some related threads but I haven't received a response, thought I'd try my luck here.
Thanks in advance!

I have the wiring diagram for the 07 but can't seem to put up.

It seems no-one is doing this change. I drive around with the screen dark most of the time and wonder if I should have stuck a $400 Garmin on the glass for the times I need help getting somewhere. Factory equipment is not designed and built to be modified like aftermarket gear is. The plugs are special and wiring is proprietary to brand of car. Unlike commercial replacement gear which has standard plug connections for sound and video making individual changes rather easy...

The screens bring up two different part numbers.
