Having some trouble with connecting Acura Link with Nexus S (android 2.3.3). Have a 2008 MDX and can't get Contacts to download to Nav system.

Bluetooth shows as connected (and voice works) but when Contacts tries to connect, connection appears to drop and message returns that cannot connect.

Frustrating ... anyone have any ideas?

I'm going to move this to the MDX forums in case other MDX owners have run across this and can chime in with some suggestions. Checking the Mobile Phone section in Ramblings is not a bad idea either.

I had the same problem. Once you try to import your phonebook, your phone looks like it's trying to connect and download the phonebook, activate your phone and pull the top menu down. In there it will prompt you for permission to share your phonebook. Just click yes and it should work from there. Hope this was what was wrong with you hfl/android connection.

Once you select on your nav screen to download phone book, your phone will prompt you with a warning sign that the nav is trying to access your phone book, pull blind down and accept.
