I can't remove the bolt on the rear window wiper arm

I can't remove the bolt on the rear window wiper arm
I am trying to install the new rear window wiper arm. I have removed the top bolt; however, this is what I am left with. I'm stumped from here.



Please help!

Compare the new part to the old part, before you force the silver nut off, with vise-a-grips.

that's the parts diagram; looks like that is a 6mm hex nut that needs to be removed! if you look at the backside, it looks there are splines so it should pull straight off

That was the trick
That was the trick! I used a puller to remove the nut. Thanks so very much!
