RonJon's new MDX!!
Guys, I thought I should make an official entrance to the MDX world. Just signed the contract for a CPO 2008 MDX white with tan interior, Tech model with RES dvd and 32k miles on the clock. Paid $27,750 and got $9k for my trade in 2003 CLS. Payments end up being under $400 a month, no money down. Think I got an awesome deal?
First up are... you guessed it, wheels, 19" most likely, Satin Black Vega wheels.
Then the 2012 Premium running boards and thats it. Maybe some headlight film with the subtle blue tint.
Pics when I pick her up tomorrow or the day after, so happy!

I have a 2007 MDX Tech and love it. the MDX is an amazing vehicle, you will love it! I have same color as you too... white/parchment. great combo! can't wait to see the pics..especially with the wheels!
I have the standard black running boards...which I like..I added the roof rack...and the black rack / black boards.. flow nicely with my dark tint....

I'm beat, just drove her home, they messed up by forgetting the floor matts and the ear phones. I'm going back tomorrow to get them. Still getting used to the technology, switching between the DVD player and getting the XM to work. its all so new to me, but I'm hooked already.
One thing that is getting me already, the headlights fogged up a little on my first drive home. Anybody else have this problem and know a fix?

Rondog, couldn't be more happier for ya man. CPO 2008 with only 32K miles? That's like new.
My vote is for you to showcase the new Inspyre IIs in 20" (with inserts of course) on your MDX This is assuming there's some concave to the wheel design (a must on the MDX)...

My wife and I both own a CL (hers) and a TL (mine). We loved both of these cars so much that when it came time to buying a bigger vehicle due to no longer being able to fit the family in one car (at times we would drive both to one location), we chose to get another Acura hands down. We found an 07 MDX with almost 100k miles but ended up getting it for $19k with a FREE 2-year extended warranty. I know that's a lot of miles BUT it was in immaculant condition and was well taken care of. We got to drive it for nearly a week before signing any papers and that's what sold me. Me working at a shop, I examined every square inch of this thing inside and out...even on the lift. We drove it the first night through one helluva rain storm and was blown away at how badass the SH-AWD system was. It treated the road like its BITCH! Haha. Like every other car they make, the MDX is a damn good car. You won't be disappointed as long as you bought an MDX that was well maintained and has never been in a serious accident. Well, maybe the gas mileage might upset you BUT with the power you feel from the big block 3.7 (kidding) under the hood, you'll understand why it drinks that much.

pics are coming, we are in the middle of moving to a new warehouse, so I'm swamped. Any info on those replica aluminum running boards for the 08 MDX? Found some on EBay.
I already ordered them, next up is Satin Black 20" Harrows with custom pearl white inserts. I'm so ready to mount them, but they get here in a month. Noticed a little bit of condensation too in the headlights. Already told the dealer, but I will wait a lithe bit before bringing it in.
I friggin love this MDX, its so plush and smooth compared to my work horse 2004 Honda Pilot.

i know, I still have to post pics of the actual MDX, but I couldn't wait to shoo these Matte Carbon Metallic Legend Type II wheels. They are 20" x 8.5" with a 5 x 120 / 40mm offset. The finish is crazy, looks very interesting. I decided to go with 255/45/20 General tires. Heard a lot of good stuff about them.
Pics of the aluminum running boards next and a bunch of stuff for the interior as they arrive.
For now, here's a teaser...

And here she is, bone stock Tech with Rear Ent System (for the little ones) in all it's WDP glory.
Got the replica side steps in, and let me tell you, this is a perfect example of the saying "u get what u paid for", damn screws were off, some were the wrong size and I had to trim a little plastic to make the plastic end caps fit. Just a friggin nightmare to install. I would gladly pay the $120 more to get the OEM ones and have them installed in about an hour. Now I have to go to Home Depot to get the right size screws and finish grinding some other screws to make them fit. Thats basically it, she will be all modded very soon.
Next up would be the interior and some exterior details like tinted heads and tails, Dinoc chrome bit to graphite to match the trip and wheels.

Working on the sidesteps now, let me just say the install needs a lot of jimmy-rigging to get it to work, but it's doable. Had to enlarge the holes slightly, and go buy the right sized bolts.
Can anybody with the OEM sport running boards chime in, is the silver part a clear coated silver powder coat or is it actually an aluminum or metal texture?

I wasn't aware there are Sport board replicas. I've been actually looking to see if I can retrofit a set for our 2006 (1st-gen). Looks like you have to rig those somewhat to fit the 2nd-gen, so maybe that's the set to "play" with...
Can you post information on cost / how to acquire your replica Sport boards?

ebay, the cost was like $280, and they were intended to fit the MDX, but they didn't, lol. I had to take a trip tot he hardware store and get the right sized bolts, which happened to fit, thank God. Little drilling here and there, and a bit of a gap here and there, but overall, the final product is good enough for me. I don't suggest getting them.
