https://cimg6.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...5a203c734f.jpg Hello Acurazine, I have a 2009 MDX Sport/Entertainment with 92,xxx miles on it. I have an immediate issue I need help with. In the process of trying to loosen the ATF fill plug/bolt (which was on unbelievably tight), I managed to break off a hose connector. (Long story short, breaker bar slipped and over travel took out that connector. Yes, I am an idiot.). It is the one circled in the attached photo. It is a fuel line but I could be wrong so please correct me if I am. Some gasoline sprayed out. The second photo shows where that connector goes. It clips on to the turquoise locking clip. (The broken connector and the hose are not shown.) I need to replace the connector and possibly the hose too but I need to know what the part is called and/or a part number. I have searched various online parts diagrams with no success. Thanks for any help! |

I'll answer my own question after hitting my Acura dealer.... It is a fuel feed hose. Part number 16720-RYE-A01.It is one part that includes the hose and the connector already attached. It is group 1 in the diagram. So if you have the misfortune of ever breaking that connector off, this is what you'll need. If you are doing your own ATF fill/flush, be careful as you try to undo the filler plug/bolt. You need a long extension to get at it and that could put your breaker bar or socket wrench in the area of the connector and a slip can yield the same results as me. |
