MDX Ignition Cylinder Won't Turn
I have a 2001 MDX. The ignition cylinder won't turn past the lock position. I'm trying to replace just the cylinder, but can't get it to release & slide out. I need suggestions asap!

Have you tried shimmying the steering wheel while trying to remove the key.

Yes. There's no problem with the key going in or out. I've had a new key cut & tried every trick to get it to turn. I'm trying to remove the cylinder but the release button won't depress because the key won't turn to the 1 or 2 position.

Ahh, apologies, when i read "slide out" I read it as you couldn't remove your key from the ignition completely.
