Loose Serpentine Belt '02 MDX

Had a very loud squeek and noticed serpentine belt appeared to be "loose". Replaced belt and tensioner pulley assembly. Belt is still very loose. What could cause the belt to be loose fitting? What could have shifted or broke to cause less space for the belt to travel its normal routing??

Detach the belt and vigorously push/pull on the pulley tensioner mounting body (not the spring-loaded part) power steering pump, alternator and A/C compressor to see if a mounting bolt is loose or missing.
With so much spring tension and range of motion to keep the belt tight, the only way you'd have a loose belt is that a driven component is loose, the belt is the wrong size (slightly too long), or the smaller mounting bolt for the tensioner is loose/missing.
I can't see how else the belt would be loose and screeching. That only happens on cars without a tensioner, not the MDX. Good luck. If you can't figure it out, take it to an Acura/Honda specialist, not a general repair place.
