Grinding from middle of car + smoke coming out of oil hole
Hey guys, I'm back with more issues on my 2001 Acura TL now at 251,000 miles. I just had the driver side hub and bearing replaced, passenger side was replace about 30k miles ago. There is still a grinding noise coming from what sounds like the center of the car in the front. Gets louder with speed, isn't really audible until 60 MPH and above. The noise does not change if I swerve the car from side to side like a wheeling bearing would so I'm left scratching my head. Belle Tire will want $70 and hour to diagnose and the Mom and Pop shops won't even bother trying to figure it out. I also went to add oil this morning (Car goes through half a quart per 1200 miles) and there was what looked like smoke coming out of the hole where you ad the oil. Maybe blow by? It smelled like what I'd describe as an old motor running with water vapor in the mix of whatever it was. Hoping it's normal? The car will also randomly dip down in RPM while idling, whether or not the A/C is running. Dunno if that's even something I should worry about or not....
