cruise control stopped working - 2005 mdx

2005 MDX acura... cruise control stopped working. Replaced cruise control module (w/ radio and hands free telephone), and that didn't fix the problem. What should I try next to find where the problem lies.

Have you checked your tail and brake lights to make sure no bulbs are out? On some cars that will cause cruise control not to work because it measures the brake light circuit.
