Check ADS system message

I had a customers 08 MDX with a CHECK ADS SYSTEM message. The code was for the left front strut. I replaced the $800+ strut and the message went away for a day, then came back on. I checked the ohms on all the strut connectors and three of them read .8 - .9 ohms. The right front did not. I decided to check the old left front strut for the source of the problem, I popped the bottom cap off and took out the 3 screws that hold the connector disc on. I noticed alot of rust on the bottom of the strut under the disc. I ohm checked the center pin to strut body and got the proper reading, so I cleaned the rust off the bottom and the 2 small fingers on the disc and put some dielectric grease on it, put it back together and got a good ohm reading. So I did the same thing to the right front one on the car, got a good ohm reading and no more message. Simple fix and alot cheaper. Apparently this is going to happen to all the front struts.

I just had the ADS light come on in my '07 MDX.
Appears when really cold outside and disappears upon start when vehicle is warm.
Not about to pay $1K to get this sorted at the dealer.
If I take a look at the front strut will it be obvious where I need to inspect / clean?
Do you have any pictures of where I need to check resistance and clean?
Any further details would be great.
