Brake pad schims

Brake pad schims

Have a question on noice when backing up slowly and the put it in drive sounds like the brake pads are loose or the schims. Anybodyelse have this happend?.

Are you sure its not the transmission switching into Drive, that your hearing?

What year? If its a first gen, this is the infamous brake clunk and it is "normal". You can reduce it by changing out your OEM pads to aftermarket. You can take it to the dealer if it is still under warranty but I don't believe their solution fixes it for too long.

I am assuming you hear this when you first brake after shifting from reverse to drive and visa versa, correct?

Yes thats it.Putting new rotors and pads on next week hopefully that takes care of it. Thanks for all the replies.f1
