Bluetooth Connection Dropping

Hello,

11 mdx tech keeps dropping the bluetooth connection to my phone while streaming music. i have about a 30 minute ride to work and it usually drops about 3-5 times. the radio display will show "no connect" then will reconnect after 30-60 seconds and continue playing music. has happened with 3 different phones ive had. my phone doesnt do this with anything else like bluetooth speakers or headphones.

took to the dealer and they replaced the hfl unit under warranty, problem persists.

i have never had a dropped connection while on a phone call, and sometimes take conference calls in the car that last 30-45 minutes.

The HFL module is known to fail per posts I've read, but I have not had this issue with our MDX. If you had it replaced at the dealer recently, I'd recommend you take it back and say the issue is still present for them to resolve it under warranty.

Since they already replaced the HFL, I would ask if there's an updated software for the headunit they can install. It may have a bug, and be dropping connection to the HFL. If that doesn't fix it, it could also be your phone. Whatever app you're streaming with may need an update, or you recently received an update that is causing the problem. If you're using Spotify lets say, you could try uninstalling the latest update, or check to see if there's a newer update.
